We are looking for a passionate and dedicated RS teacher to join our team, inspiring students and bringing RS to life through engaging and innovative teaching. We want our students to think deeply, understand different beliefs, and learn to respect other people’s views and we are looking for someone who can bring these ideas to life in the classroom.
You will provide inclusive support to ensure students have full access to the curriculum and help them foster a love for RS. Religious Studies is an important subject in our school.
We are proud to serve communities that are richly diverse and dynamic, and proud of their identities. Our pupils and their families bring languages, cultures, faiths, histories, and experiences from across the world, which we value. We believe that leadership should reflect, understand, and champion the communities it serves. You will be instrumental in doing this.
As a Multi-school Trust, we are committed to building a workforce that is equitable, representative, and inclusive at every level. We know that talented leaders from some backgrounds remain underrepresented in leadership and Headship. As principal there is an expectation that you will do all you can to support the development of leaders from underrepresented groups. Equity is not simply a policy statement. It shapes how we behave and what we do, in all we do.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. This post falls within the scope of regulated activity. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS with list checks (and other relevant checks). It is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity with children.
