Haberdashers' Abraham Darby β Job Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for an inspirational, enthusiastic, and committed teacher of English to join us from after October half-term (ideally) or January 2027. This is a 12-month post to cover adoption leave. The aptitude to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and to consistently teach stimulating and innovative lessons is essential. This is a full-time post and is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic English teacher to join the existing English team who can deliver the English curriculum across KS3 and KS4 to all ability levels (the ability and desire to teach KS5 would be most welcome). Haberdashers' Abraham Darby is a vibrant, 11-18 mixed school which opened as a new Academy in September 2008 as part of the Haberdashers' Adams' Federation Trust; a thriving partnership with Haberdashers' Adams school in Newport.
