2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. General Summary: This position reports to the Design Team Leader or their designee and is located in Maranello, Italy. The role involves designing F1 chassis-related components and mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote teamwork and effective communication across all personnel and departments.
  • Design F1 chassis components and mechanical assemblies.
  • Conduct studies and design components using solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drawings to achieve high-performance, reliable, and optimized solutions.
  • Design components including suspensions, wheels, hydraulic, fuel, and cooling systems, as well as equipment for car homologation and track-side management (e.g., legality checks, pit stop equipment).
  • Manage the mock-up activity within the design office.
  • Follow all safety regulations at all venues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Design Team Leader or their designee.

Education and Work Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; further education including a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a professional motorsports environment or F1 companies.

  • Ability to follow complex regulations related to material shipment and facility maintenance.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: Must work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment, prioritising tasks methodically. The role may require occasional domestic and international travel, long hours, including weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, manual dexterity, and working around machinery, race cars, and hazardous fluids, in compliance with health and safety policies.

This job may involve other duties as reasonably assigned by the manager.
