The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to-date in Formula 1.

We’re a racing team – not a corporate machine. We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal and hardworking team ambassadors. General Summary:
This position reports to the Aero Production Manager or their designee; is located in Castelnuovo Rangone and/or Maranello, Italy. This position will primarily involve internal logistics activities. The role will be responsible for managing material flows, with the goal of optimizing timing and the efficiency of production processes. Tasks include receiving materials, storage, handling, warehouse management, and supplying production departments and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote teamwork and effective communication to foster working relationships across all staff and departments.
  • Manage the purchasing and receipt of raw materials and components.
  • Handle the movement of materials within the model shop area to supply production, suppliers, and/or wind tunnel testing.
  • Carry out internal logistics planning activities to minimize storage and handling times, based on the needs of various departments.
  • Organize and manage the warehouse to ensure stock availability and proper storage conditions.
  • Manage the marking and tracking of materials to monitor their production history and define the timing of subsequent phases.
  • Monitor and control the flow of materials and information within the company.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to carry out Haas logistics activities between factory facilities, suppliers, and the wind tunnel.
  • Willingness to perform rotating and occasional weekend activities
  • Improve the speed and efficiency of logistics and production processes.
  • Keep the work area, vehicles, and tools clean and organized.
  • Availability to occasionally participate in wind tunnel tests.
  • Use of vehicles and transport systems for material handling.
  • Occasionally assist in the preparation of parts to be tested in the wind tunnel.
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Aero Production Manager or their designee.

Education and Work Experience:

  • A high school diploma with a technical focus or equivalent is required.
  • Some prior experience as a driver, workshop mechanic, and/or wind tunnel model maker is preferred.

  • In some cases, the use of a personal vehicle may be required, particularly for business trips or transportation tasks, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Work Environment Physical Demands:
An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional domestic & international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.

This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
