This role focuses on canvassing and prospecting for new business and is ideal for someone passionate about sales. As a Sales Adviser at haart Estate Agents in Thorpe Bay you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, lead generation, and increasing market share, representing our Estate Agency business in the local area.

Compensation & Benefits

Training & Development

  • One week at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre
  • Purpose‑built training location with industry‑leading instruction through one‑to‑one and group sessions
  • Day‑to‑day learning led by industry experts
  • Fully‑paid hotel stay for the duration of training in Colchester, depending on travel time and distance
  • Second week at the L&D Centre within the first five‑to‑six weeks of employment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily/weekly/monthly business targets are met
  • Custodian of Spicerhaart Ways for valuation generation within branch operations
  • Proactively communicate through ROSIE software, maintaining high outbound call volumes
  • Execute call‑out campaigns targeting properties for sale, keeping ROSIE operating standards
  • Attend morning meetings prepared with updates on the week’s valuation pipeline
  • Lead as Canvassing Champion, implementing structured door‑knocking and zonal canvassing strategy, tracking new listings and opportunities to generate leads
  • Use ROSIE effectively to manage market leads and prevent loss of opportunities
  • Engage in daily 1:1 meetings with the line manager for coaching and business development
  • Manage portal opportunities via Rightmove Opportunity Manager and On The Market Valuation Manager daily
  • Respond to intranet leads promptly
  • Communicate frequently with Local Owner to Sell (LOTS) customers using ROSIE
  • Generate referral business through first‑class customer engagement
  • Participate in local canvassing and prospecting activities, including social media, door knocking, telephone prospecting, and leaflet distribution
  • Build personal brand through frequent social media and video usage
  • Take inbound calls, ensuring applicant registration follows training and identifying opportunities for valuations, viewings, and financial services

Eligibility

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Own vehicle in good condition and proof of business insurance
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Basic IT proficiency and keen eye for detail
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • Evidence of right to work: passport or birth certificate
