Haart Estate Agents in Birmingham are seeking a Property Management Manager to take charge of a well-established and successful property management team. We are looking for someone with a solid track record in managing residential properties, combined with experience in leading and motivating a team. The role carries responsibility for maintaining compliance, driving performance, and ensuring an exceptional level of service for our landlords and tenants. Strong people management skills and a thorough knowledge of current property legislation are essential.

What you\'ll be doing as a Property Management Manager

  • Managing a team of property managers
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (including one-to-one meetings)
  • Ensuring the business is risk-averse and follows the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies
  • Property inspections
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and/or renewals
  • Co-ordinating with contractors to manage maintenance and/or repair issues at properties
  • Deposit returns
  • Resolving rental arrears
  • Processing eviction requests
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Completing all check-in and check-out procedures, including full inventory reports

The skills and abilities you will need

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Property Manager within residential lettings
  • Creates and encourages a positive team spirit and enjoyable working environment
  • Develop your team to advance their careers
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with all clients
  • Strong knowledge of current residential lettings legislation

Driving Requirements

  • You must hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence
  • If you wish to use your own vehicle, that vehicle must be less than 10 years old
  • To be eligible for a car allowance, your vehicle must be less than 5 years old
  • Full business-use car insurance cover (if successful and choosing to use your own vehicle)

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK (Passport/Birth Certificate)

We will also need: Proof of Address, National Insurance, and Driver’s Licence Check. At some point in the application process, you may be interviewed via video call.
