Role Impact and Responsibilities

  • Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team
  • Coaching the team to achieve KPI’s
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (including one-to-one meetings)
  • Encouraging team development and progression
  • Strong focus on generating new and repeat business
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
  • Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
  • Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
  • Ensuring the business is compliant with regulatory standards and risk management

Essential Skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher
  • Works well with others to create a team spirit and enjoyable working environment
  • Strong communication and ability to build trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and colleagues
  • Ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good telephone manner
  • Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
  • Attention to detail
