Join us as a Trainee Property Agent here at haart Estate Agents! As a part of the Lettings team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our landlords and tenants, day in and day out. Enrolling onto the Spicerhaart Training Academy, you will learn all of the skills needed to become a successful Property Agent!
Compensation and benefits:
- £28000 OTE per year
- Uncapped commission
- Full-time working hours: 8:30am to 6pm four weekdays per week, and 9am to 5pm every Saturday
- 30 days annual leave (includes bank holidays)

Your journey as a Trainee Lettings Negotiator:
- Your journey will begin with two weeks at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre:
- Purpose-built training location
- Industry-leading training delivered through one-to-one and group sessions
- Day-to-day learning led by our industry experts
- Fully-paid hotel stay for the duration of your training at our Learning & Development Centre in Colchester
- Breakfast, lunch and an evening meal provided during your stay
How you will make an impact:
- Market properties to potential tenants
- Arrange and conduct property viewings
- Negotiate offers
- Agree new tenancies
- Generating new leads through canvassing, door knocking, and leaflet dropping
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
- Continue your training and development, with close support from your mentor

The Finer Details:
- To be eligible to apply for this role, you will need:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Before starting with us, you will need to provide proof of business insurance for your vehicle
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Basic IT proficiency and a keen eye for detail
- Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK as per the Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act 2006
- Evidence of right to work in the UK, such as Passport or Birth Certificate
At some point(s) in your application process, you will be required to interview via video call. Our Employee Assistance Programme offers up to six sessions of support and guidance, via telephone. Company financial commitments to annual eye tests, and glasses, are subject to the terms stated in the company Eye Test Policy. Employee referrals are subject to the terms stated in our Employee Referral Scheme.
Please note: If you are successful in your application for this role but voluntarily leave the role within the first 12 months of employment, you may be required to reimburse the company for the costs associated with your training programme.
