We seek a passionate and skilled Cloud Ops Engineer to join the Cloud Services team as a 100% individual contributor. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to execute and deliver complex cloud infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in maintaining and modernising our multiple cloud environments hosted across public and private clouds, primarily AWS and Azure, which support deployments of the portfolio of products. Your hands-on expertise will be crucial in introducing and implementing newer technologies such as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible. A deep understanding of our existing infrastructures is essential to drive improvements required by evolving application architectures. As a senior individual contributor, you will collaborate with other product teams to adopt appropriate cloud technologies for cloud-native deployments. Working closely with the Information Security team, you will ensure the highest security standards are applied. We embrace modern methodologies with self-managed teams utilizing Kanban or Scrum within an overarching agile practice. Key Responsibilities
- Execute the technical design, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support and maintenance of a diverse set of cloud technologies.
- Implement the deployment of new technologies used by our customer platforms, focusing heavily on automation, resilient design, and cloud-ready systems and services deployment.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers to validate and enhance automation processes.
- Work closely with the Information Security team to introduce, maintain, or improve the required level of security.
- Provide expert knowledge and guidance to other teams regarding cloud services and features.
