The Job Role Details:

We are seeking a Seasonal Vineyard Operator to join this specialist Vineyard Contracting business for the 2025 growing season, typically running from April to November.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Vineyard Operations: Operating vineyard tractors and a range of mechanical attachments for tasks like mowing, spraying, pruning, and cultivation.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating closely with a skilled team to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Following Instructions: Undertaking work as directed by the team leader and adhering to operational guidelines.
  • Flexible Hours: Availability for weekend work and flexibility to adjust working hours based on vineyard needs and weather conditions.
  • Hands-On Work: Maintaining a proactive and engaged attitude while performing vineyard tasks.
  • Communication: Providing clear feedback on completed tasks and reporting any issues or observations to the team leader.
  • Initiative: Identifying ways to support the team and improve workflow without constant supervision.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery (preferred but not essential).
  • Full or Provisional UK Driving License is required.
