The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the full lifecycle of complex projects which combines hard landscaping, civil engineering works, and placemaking expertise. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. It is a practical hands-on leadership role that blends civil engineering understanding and knowledge, with strong project management skills, and a passion and commitment to delivering high-quality, functional outdoor spaces.
Location: Southern England based with travel split between the office and project sites as required.
Salary Package: Circa £60,000 basic salary depending on skills and experience + Company Vehicle + Bonus.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver multiple projects at the same time.
- Take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, overseeing subcontractors and project teams, to achieve consistent, high-quality results.
- Work closely with clients, designers and stakeholders, to maintain strong working relationships and to ensure projects meet expectations.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and schedules, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.
- Lead progress meetings, provide accurate reporting, and proactively address any challenges.
- Monitor and manage project budgets through effective cost management and resource planning.
- Set and maintain high standards of craftsmanship, technical accuracy, and attention to detail across all project stages.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with industry and company regulations.
- Proven experience working within landscaping, civil engineering, or construction project management.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of materials, construction methods, and integration of placemaking principles with civil engineering solutions.
- Confident communicator with the ability to organise workloads and engage professionally with clients face to face.
- Proven ability to oversee and manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams efficiently.
- Commercially aware, with experience in budget management, contracts, and variations.
- High level of problem-solving ability, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
