We’re supporting a large and fast-paced organisation in the search for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join their established HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident ER professional who enjoys managing complex casework, partnering with stakeholders at all levels, and delivering commercially focused HR solutions in a busy environment.
Working as part of a collaborative HR function, you’ll play a key role in providing expert guidance across a wide range of employee relations matters while helping to drive consistency, compliance, and best practice across the business.
The Role
- Provide expert advice and support on a wide range of complex employee relations matters.
- Manage a high volume of ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence, and investigations.
- Support with all matters, mediation, and Employment Tribunal preparation.
- Partner with managers and senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused outcomes.
- Coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER issues.
- Contribute to policy reviews, process improvements, and wider HR initiatives.
- Deliver training and support across multiple UK locations where required.
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Employee Relations or ER Specialist role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing complex and high-volume casework independently.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages.
