Location: Coventry & Surrounding Areas

Contract: Permanent, 40 hrs/week (8 am–4:30 pm)

Package: Up to £50,000, Door2Door, Van (Personal Use) etc - OTE £60,000+

Join a dynamic engineering team delivering first-class service across Coventry and the wider region. We have a permanent opportunity for a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to cover scheduled maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and light installations.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct planned PPM visits on air-conditioning, refrigeration, and heat-pump systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out timely repairs
  • Complete small-scale installations and site surveys
  • Assist with tender preparation (materials & labour estimates)
  • Participate in an on-call rota (including occasional out-of-town work)
  • Generate clear, professional daily job reports
  • Advise clients on site and mentor junior engineers

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience

  • City & Guilds 2079 F-GAS Categories 1 & 4
  • City & Guilds Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps Levels 1 & 2
  • Proven field experience fault-finding, repairs & PPM on M&E systems
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and basic electrical systems
  • Familiarity with Legionella L8 water testing and emergency-lighting checks
  • Computer literate with a clean driving licence
  • Comfortable working in occupied premises and engaging professionally with the public

Desirable Add-Ons

  • C&G Level 3 Electrical Installation, Commissioning & Inspection qualifications
  • 2382-22 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
  • Emergency lighting to BS 5266
  • CSCS, PASMA, IPAF or similar site-safety certifications
