Finance Assistant Part Time (29 hours per week) – Permanent Up to £28,000pa – Manchester We are supporting a great business based in Manchester City Centre looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their small Finance Team and report into the Finance Manager. This opportunity offers great flexibility for someone looking for a part time role e.g. 3 days per week 1 day a week WFH. As a successful candidate you will perform daily accounting tasks that will support the Finance Manager and the broader team. You will also help the accounts department to run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions. Salary is dependent on experience but ranging up to £28,000pa. Benefits of the role: * Private Health Insurance * Paid birthdays off work * Competitive pension * 25 days AL + banks holidays (pro rata) Responsibilities in the role: * Responsible for raising invoices, ensuring invoices are paid to terms, chasing overdue invoices. * Responsible for supplier invoices, processing supplier payments. * Processing team expenses and bank reconciliations. * Reporting, including updating and monitoring project cashflows. Requirements of the role: * Extensive experience at Finance Administrator/Assistant/Accounts Assistant level within a qualified role/roles. * Xero experience would be desirable. * Strong Excel experience
