Job Description

Electrical Project Manager\\n\\nLocation: UK (North West preferred)\\nSalary: £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus\\nSector: Power Generation / Heavy Industrial / Energy & Infrastructure\\n\\nAn established UK contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex construction projects within regulated, safety-critical environments.\\n\\nThis role offers full project ownership, overseeing HSEQ, commercial performance, programme delivery and project controls, while leading multidisciplinary teams on site.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Prepare and manage pre-mobilisation and pre-construction activities, including HSE Plans, Quality Plans, RAMS and ITPs\\n\\n * Validate and control project budgets, reporting structures and cost forecasts\\n\\n * Take full responsibility for Construction, HSEQ, Commercial and Project Controls functions\\n\\n * Plan and monitor labour, supervision, plant and equipment deployment across work fronts\\n\\n * Ensure methods of work remain compliant with company, client and statutory health & safety policies\\n\\n * Set up, update and monitor project measures, schedules and earned value\\n\\n * Identify, investigate and report budget or man-hour deviations on a weekly basis\\n\\n * Manage drawing take-offs and control scope changes throughout the project lifecycle\\n\\n * Track progress, record delays and provide cause & effect analysis to the client\\n\\n * Prepare and submit early warnings and variations for out-of-scope works\\n\\n * Lead client-facing communication, site meetings and internal project reviews\\n\\n * Oversee project health & safety with support from the HSE function\\n\\n * Work closely with commercial teams to prepare monthly applications and valuations\\n\\n * Control project costs, labour mix, time & attendance and productivity\\n\\n * Manage procurement, tender evaluation, subcontractor selection and close-out\\n\\n * Prepare and administer multiple subcontract packages\\n\\n * Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports across HSE, Commercial, Quality, Engineering and Construction\\n\\n * Mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff\\n\\n * Ensure full compliance with all HSEQ policies and procedures\\n\\nQualifications & Experience\\n\\n * 10+ years’ construction experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role,\\n or a Degree Qualified Engineer with 10+ years’ project-based experience\\n\\n * Background in Oil & Gas, Power Generation or Heavy Industrial environments preferred\\n\\n * Strong contractual and commercial awareness\\n\\n * Excellent knowledge of project controls, estimating, planning and scheduling\\n\\n * Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability\\n\\n * Strong construction safety knowledge\\n\\n * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word\\n\\nWhy Apply?\\n\\n * Senior-level autonomy and responsibility\\n\\n * Long-term project pipeline\\n\\n * Competitive package with car allowance and bonus\\n\\n * Opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-value projects\\n\\n📩 All applications handled confidentially
