Are you a mechanically minded Design Engineer with a passion for precision engineering and product development? The RoleYou\âll join a close-knit engineering team responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies â from concept through to manufacture. Working with CNCâmachined parts, enclosures and precision fittings, you\âll turn ideas into robust, costâeffective, productionâready designs.
Key Responsibilities
Create and develop mechanical designs and 3D models using CAD software
Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs and documentation
Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure designs are optimised for machining and assembly
Support prototype builds, testing and product validation
Drive continuous improvement of existing designs for performance and cost
Collaborate crossâfunctionally with production, quality and procurement
About You
Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
Solid experience designing machined components and assemblies
Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo or similar)
Strong understanding of materials, tolerancing and manufacturing processes (CNC, turning, milling)
Handsâon approach with an eye for detail and problemâsolving
Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
