Building Services Supervisor (M&E)

H9 Talent Solutions are looking to identify an experienced Building Services Supervisor (M&E) to join a large scale energy project in Scotland (Central Belt). You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical and electrical building services on a major thermal energy project, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, programme and required quality standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical and electrical building services installation and erection activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors and interfaces with other contractors.
- Review RAMS and monitor compliance with project HSE requirements.
- Lead erection, coordination and progress meetings.
- Monitor programme, cost and quality and report progress.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and readiness for commissioning.
- Manage quality issues and notify the project team of HSE, quality, schedule or contractual deviations.
- Support final inspections, commissioning readiness and handover.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Building Services / M&E Supervisor role on large industrial, thermal power or EfW projects.
- Strong HSEQ leadership and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- 18th Edition BS 7671.
- SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent.
- NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
