H9 Talent Solutions are seeking an experienced Site Completion Engineer to support the final construction and commissioning stages of a major Energy from Waste / thermal plant project.
The role will bridge the gap between construction and commissioning, taking ownership of completion activities, inspections, turnover documentation and snag resolution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support construction Final Inspection & Sign-Off (FIS) activities.
- Coordinate snagging, punch-list closeout and outstanding construction works.
- Prepare and track Turnover Packages (TOP) and project completion documentation.
- Coordinate piping support, ATEX and third-party inspections.
- Ensure accurate as-built P&IDs are completed and transferred to engineering.
- Liaise with construction, engineering, commissioning teams and suppliers.
- Support design modifications and technical queries where required.
- Promote strong HSEQ standards across site activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Major experience on large-scale industrial, energy or process plant projects.
- Strong construction and commissioning background, ideally at Commissioning Lead/Engineer level.
- BOP / Boiler commissioning experience is essential.
- Experience on Energy from Waste, thermal, biomass or similar process plants highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, isometrics, construction drawings and process systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
- Good understanding of site HSE requirements.
- Strong command of English.
