H9 Talent Solutions are hiring for a Senior Director to join our clients Energy & Infrastructure platform in London. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on advising investors, developers, corporates and public-sector clients across energy transition and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will play a leadership role in originating and executing advisory and transaction mandates, supporting capital raising, M&A and strategic advisory across renewable energy, power and infrastructure assets.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Client Advisory & Transaction Execution
    • Lead and execute advisory mandates across energy and infrastructure assets, including:
    • Renewables (solar, wind, BESS, hybrid platforms)
    • Utilities, networks and regulated infrastructure
    • Digital infrastructure (data centres, fibre, towers)
    • Transport, social and core infrastructure
  • Advise clients on M&A, joint ventures, capital raising, refinancing and portfolio strategy.
  • Provide strategic advice on market entry, asset positioning, valuation, and capital structuring.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across JLL (Capital Markets, Valuations, ESG, Project & Development Services).
  • Business Development & Origination
    • Originate new mandates through existing client relationships and proactive market engagement.
    • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with:
    • Infrastructure funds and pension funds
    • Private equity and energy transition investors
    • Developers, IPPs and corporates
    • Banks, lenders, and strategic partners
  • Contribute to revenue growth, pipeline development and long-term client retention.
  • Market Leadership & Thought Leadership
    • Act as a senior representative in the energy and infrastructure market.
    • Contribute to thought leadership, market insights, and client presentations.
    • Support the development of their energy transition and infrastructure advisory offering in the UK and EMEA.
    • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
    • Support recruitment, training, and development of talent within the Energy & Infrastructure team.
  • Experience & Qualifications
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in energy, infrastructure advisory, investment banking, principal investing or consulting.
    • Strong track record in originating and executing complex advisory or transaction mandates.
    • Deep understanding of energy and infrastructure markets, capital structures, and investor requirements.
    • Proven ability to operate as a trusted adviser to senior clients (C-suite, investment committees, boards).
    • Excellent financial, commercial, and strategic judgment.
    • Experience working with institutional investors, funds, developers, or corporates.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
    • Investment banking (Energy, Infrastructure, or Power & Utilities)
    • Infrastructure or energy private equity / credit
    • Big 4 or strategy consulting with a focus on energy & infrastructure
    • Principal investor or developer with transaction exposure
    • Real assets advisory or capital markets background
