HR Assistant
Location: Farnborough (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)

We're working with an established international engineering and technology business that is continuing to invest in its People & Culture function. Due to ongoing growth, they're looking to appoint a proactive HR Assistant to join their UK team based in Farnborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR administration experience who enjoys a varied role and wants exposure across the full employee lifecycle within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team, you'll provide first-line support to employees and managers while ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
- Preparing contracts of employment, letters and other HR documentation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
- Supporting payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assisting with onboarding, compliance, training administration and wider HR initiatives.
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently.
- Providing general HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Previous experience within an HR Administration or HR Assistant role.
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR processes.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Payroll experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
