An international engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior / Lead Consultant with strong project management experience to support the delivery of major complex energy and power generation projects. This role is ideal for someone who combines a solid engineering background with the ability to lead high-value projects and advise clients at a strategic level.
You will be working across large-scale energy infrastructure projects including areas such as:
- Power Generation (including CCGT)
- Oil & Gas
- Renewable Energy
- Energy Transition projects
The Role
- Leading and delivering complex engineering and infrastructure projects
- Acting as a trusted advisor to major clients
- Managing project teams including junior engineers and consultants
- Overseeing technical delivery, project planning, and stakeholder management
- Supporting the development of major energy projects from concept through execution
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background
- Relevant degree (essential)
- Around 10+ years industry experience
- Strong project management experience on large-scale engineering projects
- Background within power generation, oil & gas, renewables, or energy infrastructure
- Ability to lead projects and mentor engineers
Candidates currently working in roles such as Senior Engineer, Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Engineering Manager or even Plant Manager with major project exposure are encouraged to apply.
