London (flexible) Circa £130,000 + package (flexible for the right person). We are working with a leading international engineering and infrastructure organisation delivering complex EPC and BOT projects across sectors such as energy, utilities, and industrial plant. They are now looking to appoint a Director of Contract Management Execution to play a key leadership role in driving commercial performance, managing contractual risk, and supporting successful project delivery across a global portfolio.
This is a senior leadership position focused on post-award contract management, overseeing the full lifecycle from project execution through to close-out. You will act as a strategic commercial partner to the business, ensuring robust contract governance, proactive risk management, and effective resolution of complex commercial challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic commercial and contract management guidance to senior stakeholders
- Lead and develop high-performing commercial project teams across multiple regions
- Oversee contract execution across major EPC/BOT projects, working closely with project leadership
- Take ownership of claims strategy, negotiations, and dispute resolution
- Drive improvements in processes, tools, and global ways of working
- Ensure strong compliance, risk management, and commercial governance across all projects
About You
- 10+ years’ experience in contract/commercial management within international project environments (energy, waste-to-energy, power, oil & gas, infrastructure, or utilities)
- Proven track record leading complex, high-value project contracts
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in cost control and project financials
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience developing and mentoring commercial teams
- Degree in Law, Construction Management, or Business (LLB, JD, MBA advantageous)
- Fluent in English (German beneficial but not essential)
