I am supporting a client in Cheshire looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis. Successful candidates must be adaptable to change as the business is going through some positive changes. The role is based between their Tarporley office and Wirral office. The role is fully on site due to the nature of the industry/business but offering some fantastic benefits.

Responsibilities as a Head of Finance:

  • Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and returns for new projects.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and policies.
  • Hire, train, and oversee finance staff.
  • Participate in defining and executing business strategy and policy.
  • Control costs and maximize profit.
  • Explore new revenue opportunities.

Requirements of the role:

  • Previously worked as a Finance Manager/Head of Finance.
  • Previous finance hospitality experience would be a preference.
  • Qualified by experience with extensive Head of Finance/Finance Manager experience.
