Responsibilities
- Supervising the housekeeping team, ensuring standards are maintained and delivered at all times within both rooms and public areas.
- Providing clear feedback to Room Attendants and House Stewards if their areas are not up to the required standards and providing training where necessary.
- Providing training to all new starters, ensuring that they have the appropriate buddy in place for a duration of time that enables them to reach and maintain the high standards of cleanliness that is required.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered at all times in line with our core values and standards which are to exceed guest expectations.
About You
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is required ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel operation.
- The ability to lead, train, coach and develop a team.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with all team members bearing in mind that English will not be the first language for many.
- Understands the importance of teamwork and works collaboratively with other departments.
