The HR Advisor will support the delivery of a professional, proactive and commercially focused HR service across the business.
The role will provide advice and guidance on a broad range of HR matters, supporting managers and employees while contributing to the achievement of business objectives.

- Support the HR Business Partner in delivering the people strategy and HR business plan.
- Advise and support managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, probation and performance management cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policy.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Administer and coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, probation reviews, contractual changes and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment legislation.
- Produce and analyse HR metrics and management information to identify trends and support business decision-making.
- Support the development, implementation and review of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
- Lead or contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day HR enquiries, providing timely, practical and commercially sound advice.
- Build effective working relationships across the business, promoting employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.

- COMMERCIAL
- To liaise with service providers, including recruitment agencies and suppliers, ensuring commercial value and effective service delivery.
- To liaise directly with candidates, suppliers and stakeholders by telephone, email and face-to-face, managing interviews, recruitment activities, terms of business and HR-related enquiries.
- To manage and maintain intranet-based HR policies, ensuring they remain compliant with current legislation and are effectively communicated across the business.
- To coordinate and support the delivery of development and training events in conjunction with the Training Administrator, ensuring activities are well-organised, achieve their objectives and add value to the business.
To act as a key user and subject matter expert for the HRIS, driving system improvements and ensuring data integrity.
- To demonstrate a high level of competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point.
- To maintain accurate HR records, reports and documentation with excellent attention to detail.
- To provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, ensuring consistent application across the business.
- To produce and analyse HR data and management information to support business decision-making and identify trends.
- To maintain a sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice, ensuring advice and guidance provided to managers is accurate, consistent and compliant.
- To work alongside the Training Administrator to deliver HR and people-focused initiatives that drive performance, engagement and cultural development in line with the Business Plan.
