Job Description Experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Technician Location: Fareham, Hampshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Vehicle Mechanic looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting on behalf of an established, quality-focused automotive business in the Fareham area that is looking to welcome a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Mechanic / Technician to its growing team. Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults. Undertaking inspections and identifying necessary repairs. Supporting the wider workshop team when required. Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or Vehicle Technician. NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent experience. A thorough understanding of vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs. A full UK driving licence. MOT testing experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Let's Have a Confidential Chat. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Complete vehicle inspections and identify required repairs. Carry out brake, suspension, steering and engine repairs. Undertake general mechanical repairs across a variety of makes and models. Prepare vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements. Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop. Ideal Candidate / Person Specification Experienced Vehicle Mechanic or Technician with a strong background in servicing, maintenance and repairs. Ideally NVQ Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent. Confident diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults. Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in producing high-quality work. Full UK driving licence. MOT testing qualification desirable but not essential.
