We are looking for a driven, commercially minded Sales Executive to support outbound business development across three growing international B2B media platforms:

  • H2O Global News (water & wastewater sector)
  • Climate Global News (climate, sustainability & environment)
  • Life Sciences Global News (biotech, pharma & lab technologies)

This role will focus on outbound sales activity, generating new business opportunities and revenue, while working alongside an existing inbound Business Development Manager. This is a commission-only role, suited to an experienced, self-motivated sales professional who is confident in winning new business and managing their own pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients across relevant sectors (e.g. water technology, environmental services, life sciences suppliers)
  • Conduct outbound outreach via: LinkedIn, Email, Industry research and prospecting
  • Present and sell advertising, sponsored content and campaign opportunities across our publications
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting through to close
  • Work collaboratively with the internal team to align outbound activity with inbound opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and sales activity

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within: Media / publishing, Sponsorship / events, Marketing services
  • Strong outbound sales capability (cold outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, email campaigns)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to sell value, not just price
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Interest or experience in water, climate, or life sciences sectors is advantageous

Commission Structure

  • Competitive commission on all closed business (25% on new business and 15% on renewal, depending on deal structure)
