We’re looking for an Office Supplies Category Manager to join our Commercial team at H2e Commerce and take ownership of the development, management and presentation of our Office Supplies category across our ecommerce websites.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in category management, buying, merchandising, ecommerce or a similar commercial role who enjoys working with data, identifying opportunities and turning insight into action.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our product range, improving the online customer experience and supporting the continued growth of both branded and own-brand products.

This role is based on site in Winsford with one day working at home after full training. Working hours 8:00am to 4:30pm.

About the Role You’ll work collaboratively with Purchasing, Marketing, Development, Ecommerce Content and the wider Commercial team, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the business.

  • Manage and develop the Office Supplies product range, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Assess new supplier and OEM product opportunities and support new product introductions.
  • Identify range gaps, duplication and opportunities to rationalise or expand the product range.
  • Support the development and growth of own-brand products.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, market trends and customer demand to identify commercial opportunities and improve our pricing position.
  • Analyse sales, margins, pricing and product performance data to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Support promotional campaigns, seasonal activity and marketing initiatives.
  • Work with Ecommerce Content teams to ensure products and categories are accurately structured, categorised and presented.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product discoverability, on-site search, navigation and the overall customer experience.
  • Review and improve category structures and online merchandising.
  • Work with Development teams on website and category improvement projects.
  • Support merchandising and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide commercial insight and recommendations to support wider business decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience in category management, buying, merchandising, ecommerce or a similar commercial role. Preferably within stationery, business supplies or similar.
  • Experience managing, developing or optimising product ranges.
  • A relevant qualification in Business, Commercial, Marketing, Ecommerce or a similar subject would be beneficial.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • The ability to analyse sales, margin, pricing and competitor data and turn insight into practical recommendations.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to identify opportunities and improvements independently.
