An exceptional opportunity to join one of the first go-to-market hires at a Y Combinator-backed, AI-native legal services company that is redefining how fast-moving businesses access and consume legal work. Backed by Y Combinator, a leading early-stage venture fund and more than 20 unicorn founders, the business has attracted serious institutional support and is at the beginning of what promises to be a high-growth trajectory. The founding team brings together deep Big Law expertise and proven product-building experience, and they are now ready to build their commercial engine β starting with this hire.
The Role: As a Founding GTM / SDR, you will own the full top-of-funnel motion for the London market, working directly alongside the founding team to build pipeline from scratch. High-volume outbound prospecting will account for the majority of your time (60%+), targeting in-house legal teams at venture-backed and mid-market companies. You will run discovery calls and support customer onboardings, build and manage your pipeline in CRM with accurate forecasting, and feed real market insight back to the founders to refine the ICP and messaging. This is not a 'seat-filler' SDR role β it is a founding commercial position with a clearly defined and actively supported path to a closing AE role within 9β18 months.
The Candidate: You will have 1β3 years of GTM, SDR, BDR or sales experience with a proven outbound track record β meetings booked per week and per month matter here. A legal background is required: either a law degree (JD or equivalent) or prior experience at a legal tech company (such as Harvey, Lagora, Robin AI or Luminous). You must be able to demonstrate a genuine ability to engage with and sell into lawyers and in-house legal teams. High EQ is non-negotiable β the legal buyer is discerning, and you will need to be genuinely sociable, credible and energising in conversation rather than a script-reader. You are motivated by the growth path, comfortable with high outbound volume in the near term, and excited by the prospect of building something from the ground up. You must be London-based and able to work in-office.
The Package: On offer is a base salary of Β£45,000βΒ£75,000 with an OTE of Β£55,000βΒ£95,000, plus competitive equity in a YC-backed company at a genuinely early stage.
