Are you a hungry B2B closer ready to join a category-defining AI startup as their first sales hire?

We're partnering with a stealth-mode, VC-backed AI-native law firm that is transforming how legal services are delivered to mid-market private equity funds and financial institutions. Backed by $10m from a tier-1 US VC, this company has already processed over $200m of legal work and is scaling fast with zero direct competitors in their space.

They're hiring their first Account Executive to sit alongside the founding GTM lead. The leads are warm, the outbound motion is proven, and the pipeline is growing — they need someone to own deals end-to-end and close business.

The Role

• Own the full sales cycle from qualified lead to close across a 2–3 month deal cycle, selling into real estate firms, investment funds, financial institutions, and corporates

• Build and manage customer relationships, driving renewals and upsells as accounts scale from £30K to multiple hundreds of thousands

• Bring legal knowledge to live deals — speak credibly with General Counsel, fund operations leads, and in-house legal teams to accelerate trust and shorten sales cycles

• Help shape the GTM playbook: discovery frameworks, demo flows, objection handling, and pricing strategy

• Feed market intelligence back to the founders and product team — test verticals, refine ICP, and identify what resonates

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of B2B closing experience, ideally at a startup selling into enterprise or mid-market buyers

• Legal industry exposure — whether through legal tech sales, selling to legal buyers, or a background as a paralegal or lawyer who has moved into a commercial role

• A track record of rapid career progression (e.g. SDR to AE, or fast promotion to Senior AE)

• Comfortable in an early-stage environment: resourceful, autonomous, and motivated by building something from scratch

• Strong communication skills and the ability to earn trust quickly with senior legal and financial stakeholders

What's On Offer

• OTE £120K–£150K (60/40 base/commission split, flexible for the right person — can optimise for equity, base, or commission)

• Meaningful early-stage equity in a company capturing market share with no direct competition

• Ground-floor opportunity: first sales hire, shape the function, grow with the business

• World-class founding team with backgrounds across Magic Circle law, fintech engineering (0→$4bn), and VC-backed startups

• Visa sponsorship and relocation support available

• London-based, 5 days in-office
