We are currently recruiting for a Night Luggage Porter to join the night team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in West London. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated and welcoming team, delivering exceptional service during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with luggage, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Deliver luggage to guest rooms promptly and accurately, and assist with departures as required.
- Provide information to guests regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and transport options.
- Conduct regular patrols of guest areas and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues.
- Ensure the lobby and front entrance are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
- Handle guest requests, including room moves, extra amenities, or late-night needs.
- Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure a smooth overnight operation.
- Assist with wake-up calls and early morning departures as necessary.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety, fire regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Night Porter, Luggage Porter, or similar role (preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Well-presented, polite, and approachable.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage.
- A valid UK driving licence is required.
- Flexible and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Night shifts 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, on a 4 nights on / 4 nights off rota.
