About HW Martin Fencing and Forestry Ltd As specialists in fencing and vegetation management, we are used to working with leading civil engineering contractors, highway authorities and rail networks. Since 1996, we have concentrated much of our resources on the railway industry and have steadily increased our share of work to the point where we are now a principal contractor on over three quarters of the railway network. The role will include delivering materials to various locations in the UK to facilitate fencing work and subsequent removal of scrap back to our HQ in Blackwell. The role will also involve yard duties such as loading and unloading materials with a telescopic handler, undertaking stock checks, and ensuring goods inwards and outwards are fully documented. HGV Driver Safe Transport: · Securely collect and deliver materials to locations in the UK to facilitate fencing works · Securely remove scrap from sites and return back to the depot for appropriate disposal Drive and operate HGV vehicle in line with tachograph laws · Yard Operative · Loading and unloading materials with a Telescopic handler · Class 1 Licence - (Essential) · ALLMI competence – Lorry mounted crane + slinger (grab attachment and lifting with chains/slings) – (Essential) · Telescopic Handler – (desirable) · A reasonable level of competence of the English Language (speaking, reading, and writing) and basic arithmetic. · A flexible approach We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from any suitably qualified persons.
