We're on the lookout for a Test & Calibration Technician to join a friendly production team. If you're passionate about precision and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role might be the perfect fit for you. With many different products to test, it won’t be the same thing day in day out. You'll be responsible for testing and configuring component product assemblies, conducting functional tests and calibrations, and documenting the results. There will also be product re-calibration to do as part of their service offering to customers. Your attention to detail will contribute to the success of the production team.
Here's a glimpse into what you'll be doing:
- Testing, and repairing small electromechanical sub-assemblies and full systems.
- Working closely with engineering drawings, models, and schematics to guarantee accurate assembly.
- Collaborating with other teams to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous product improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role - Test Technician, Calibration Technician, Electronics Technician.
- Some knowledge of electronic and optical components.
- Experience in testing of electronic and/or precision mechanical systems.
- Familiar with test and calibration processes.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional hand-eye coordination.
