Job Opportunity: Scientific Instruments Sales and Support Specialist

Do you love to understand how things work? Taking things apart to put them back together again, or figuring out how different devices and instruments do what they are supposed to? This is a rare opportunity where you can combine your inquisitive nature and technical mindset, and help people understand how these specialist instruments can support their research.
You will work closely with the Commercial Director and become a central part of the business, offering excellent career prospects and development opportunities. The role involves introducing our specialist instruments to universities and laboratories across the UK and Europe.
Your responsibilities will include customer liaison, demonstrations, product marketing, market research, and after-sales support. If you have recently completed your Masters or PhD, or are in a similar role involved in physical sciences, and are looking for a challenging position, we encourage you to get in touch!
The Candidate:
We welcome applications from recent graduates to candidates with significant industry experience.
The successful candidate will be positive, confident, enjoy engaging with people, and possess most of the following skills and experience:
- A Degree or Masters in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for interacting with people
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for customer visits and scientific conferences
- A full UK Driving License (essential)
This role will be based in our office, supporting customers across the UK and Europe, with opportunities to travel to some beautiful countries!
