Quality Manager * Basic Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 * Additional benefits * Buckinghamshire based Are you looking for an opportunity to join an evolving engineering business and take ownership of Quality? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager with an electro-mechanical background who wants to help shape the future of a highly successful business. My client designs and builds high-tech equipment that is used globally. With plans in place to grow the business, this is a great opportunity to take responsibility for your department. Everything they manufacture is low volume and high value; everything is built as one-offs. You will be responsible for ensuring all company products and services meet quality standards before they go to market. As Quality Manager you will also be responsible for: * Ensuring that processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented and maintained. * Driving quality levels through QA improvement and measurement tools, both internally and with suppliers. * Managing non-conformances and complaints, utilising RCCA * Understanding customer expectations of and needs for a product. * Developing quality control processes and product specifications. The Candidate: Quality Manager The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: * Proven track record of quality management within an ISO9001 electro-mechanical environment. * Markets you could have worked within include defence, medical devices, maritime/marine, instrumentation, and technology. * Strong leader with the ability to influence and persuade others
