Do you enjoy interacting with people and learning about different testing requirements in the geotechnical engineering field? In this role, you'd be working closely with customers, developing ideas with them and creating solutions to their testing requirements.
With an ever-expanding customer base, they are looking for a solution-oriented Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer who wants to use their technical skills to help research facilities, universities, and laboratories all over the world. The business is expanding, and it’s an exciting time to join! We need your help to strengthen their international presence, supporting an established customer base. You'll get the opportunity to travel too, not only within Europe but further afield, to attend trade shows and exhibitions around the world.
The Role: Technical Consultant
- Build and maintain excellent relationships both with customers and agents
- Work with customers to develop solutions to their testing requirements
- Provide technical support to customers via email and phone.
- Participate in trade seminars, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
- Provide feedback to the company’s product development department on customer equipment requirements
The Candidate – Geotechnical Consultant
- Degree qualified in geotechnical engineering, geology, civil engineering, or an associated discipline.
- Willing to travel once every 2 months to international locations.
- Willing to learn new products as part of an in-depth training programme.
- Comfortable discussing product applications and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated, confident, friendly, and adaptable levels of communication.
