We are looking for an experienced B2B telemarketer who is confident speaking directly with managing directors, business owners and other senior decision-makers. This is not a high-volume call-centre role, and you will not be reading from a rigid script. We need someone who can hold a natural, professional conversation, quickly build credibility and explain the value of a complimentary business insight service being offered to selected companies. The purpose of the call is to generate genuine interest and value to their business. There is no payment or commitment required from the businesses being contacted, so this is a consultative introduction rather than a hard sell.
The role - You will be responsible for:
- Making targeted outbound calls to business owners, directors and senior managers
- Introducing our complimentary business insight service clearly and professionally
- Explaining why the service could be valuable to their business
- Handling initial questions and overcoming objections naturally
- Identifying interested companies and advising next steps
- Keeping accurate notes and providing straightforward feedback after each calling session
- Representing an established, owner-managed recruitment business professionally
About you - We are particularly interested in speaking with people who have:
- Strong experience in B2B telemarketing
- A proven ability to speak confidently with directors and business owners
- An articulate, credible and natural telephone manner
- The confidence to work from a conversation framework rather than simply reading a script
- The ability to listen, ask sensible questions and adapt the conversation
- A reliable and self-motivated approach
- A suitable home-working environment with computer and phone
Experience within recruitment, professional services, consultancy or another business-to-business environment would be useful, but it is not essential. Your confidence, communication skills and experience of senior-level conversations are more important.
Hours and pay - The role is for eight hours per week. The rate is £15 per hour. There may be an opportunity to increase the hours in the future if the arrangement works well for both parties.
Why join us? You will be working directly with the owner of an established independent business. You will be given clear target companies, background information and a structured conversation guide, while still having the freedom to use your own personality and experience. We are looking for someone who values quality conversations over simply making as many calls as possible.
If you are interested then please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
