We are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established fresh food manufacturing business. This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for leading a team of around 30 production staff within a busy fresh food processing environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Production Manager and will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the required standards.
The Role: As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of production activity, ensuring labour, materials and stock are managed effectively to meet production requirements. Duties will include:
- Supervising and supporting a team of around 30 production staff
- Planning daily production activity and ensuring targets are met
- Carrying out activity mapping to improve efficiency and workflow
- Managing stock control and ensuring materials are available for production
- Supporting staff reviews, performance management and disciplinaries where required
- Ensuring all staff follow company procedures and health
