You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of automated production and packaging equipment within fast-paced FMCG environments.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding on high-speed production lines
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Working closely with production to maximise uptime and efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of engineering, hygiene and food safety
Equipment typically includes:
- Conveyors, motors, drives and sensors
- Checkweighers and metal detectors
- PLC-controlled systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley)
- High-speed packaging and processing machinery
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
- Ideally from food manufacturing
- Electrical or multi-skilled bias
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, breakdown-critical environments
- Willingness to relocate to meet business needs (essential)
