International Travel 75% of time spent outside the UK (From 3 Days up to 2Week intervals) – Worldwide Travel

Base Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (OTE £65,000 – £80,000 with overtime when travelling)plusexpenses and further market leading benefits

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a global leader in machine supply. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias, you will:

  • Install new equipment and service existing machinery
  • Provide troubleshooting and repair support throughout the lifecycle of equipment, both electrically and mechanically
  • Ensure timely preparation of customer site reports
  • Train customer technical staff on equipment operation, sanitation, and maintenance best practices, as needed
  • Supervise contractors and collaborate effectively with team members, while demonstrating strong initiative when working independently
  • While based in the UK, you will be required to travel to customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. You can be based anywhere within the UK

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably within the food production industry
  • Electrical PLC expertise
  • Strong background in installation and servicing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Extensive fault-finding experience
  • Relevant electrical qualifications
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
