H-Seventeen are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a global leader in food processing machinery. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their expanding international team.
This is an exciting and varied position that combines hands-on technical work with global travel, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automated systems across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission new production machinery and automated systems at customer sites
- Conduct electrical and mechanical setup, calibration, and performance testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases
- Prepare and complete detailed site and commissioning reports
- Collaborate with international project teams
- Maintain strong customer relationships and uphold the company’s reputation for service excellence
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Installation and Commissioning Engineer with food production equipment
- Strong electrical and PLC knowledge – fault finding, wiring, and testing
- Solid understanding of mechanical assembly and automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ, ONC, HNC, or equivalent)
- Confident working both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
