We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, working as part of a team to help manufacture, assemble, pack and prepare products to the required quality and safety standards.
The Role
As a Manufacturing Operative, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the production area, ensuring products are made correctly, safely and efficiently. Duties will include:
- Working on production lines or manufacturing stations
- Operating basic machinery and production equipment
- Assembling, packing, labelling or preparing products
- Checking products for quality and reporting any issues
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Supporting other areas of the factory when required
