About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Groundcare Sales Executive to help develop and grow our Groundcare customer base. This role focuses on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs. You will manage a varied customer portfolio including golf courses, local authorities, contractors, estates, and residential customers, working closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience. Full product and industry training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with transferable sales experience as well as those with existing groundcare knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Identify new sales opportunities through market research and proactive engagement
- Promote and sell HRN's range of groundcare machinery and associated products
- Deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to divisional growth
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular sales performance reports
- Work collaboratively with Service and Parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A motivated, self-driven approach with a passion for sales
- Ability to build long‑term customer relationships
- Commercial awareness and understanding of market trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Trailer towing capability desirable (training can be provided)
- Groundcare or related industry experience advantageous but not essential
