We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Inn Supplies. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department and ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Processing invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  • Reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Conducting regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
  • Providing support to the finance team in various tasks and projects as needed

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
