H-Power is a UK-based, AIM-listed clean energy company developing zero-emissions hydrogen power systems. Using ammonia to produce low-carbon hydrogen at the point of need, and fuel cells to convert it into reliable, off-grid power, H-Power offers a scalable, practical alternative to fossil fuels, serving construction, infrastructure, transport and power generation sectors. Behind the technology is a team driven by a shared purpose: to accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels.

- Leading manufacturability assessments and Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities across new product development programmes
- Developing manufacturing documentation including process flows, SOPs, work instructions and quality controls
- Supporting manufacturing audits, process validation activities and production readiness reviews
- Determining make-versus-buy decisions and developing outsourcing strategies where appropriate
- Building and managing relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturing partners
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and waste reduction
- Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Project teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve performance
- Leading and developing the Manufacturing Engineering team while supporting future growth of the function
- Supporting the introduction of new manufacturing technologies, processes and production capabilities
We're keen to speak with people with experience in:
- Manufacturing engineering, industrialisation or production development within complex engineering environments
- Taking products from prototype through to production and scale-up
- Manufacturing process design, production readiness and operational improvement
- Design for Manufacture (DFM), New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing validation activities
- Supplier development, contract manufacturing and make-versus-buy decision making
- Leading engineering or manufacturing teams within growing or evolving businesses
