H&M Distribution Limited are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Van Driver to join their team. As one of the leading suppliers of distribution services within the UK, we are currently expanding our team within our Newton-le-Willows depot, offering full-time permanent positions, a competitive pay rate, additional bonuses, incentives, and the opportunity to earn overtime. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in progressing to a Class 1 or Class 2 licence, with full company support and funding provided.
The role includes daily multi-drop and tail lift deliveries within the WN and WA postcode areas, covering pallet network deliveries. This includes regular communication with the Transport Manager and Transport Team to ensure deliveries and collections run smoothly. We value work-life balance; therefore, this role operates Monday to Friday with staggered start and finish times.

- Drive defensively and fuel efficiently at all times
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation, including drivers’ hours and vehicle defect reporting
- Provide an exceptional standard of service to customers
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the Transport Management Team
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and wear uniform and PPE provided
- Current and valid UK Driving Licence
- Minimum of 6 months’ driving experience on UK roads
- Understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and tachograph legislation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Salary: £13.09 per hour plus time and a half after 45 hours (from 1st April)
