H&M Distribution Limited are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join their team. As one of the leading suppliers of distribution services within the UK, we are currently expanding our team within our Gloucester depot, offering full-time permanent positions, a competitive pay rate, and additional incentives. The role involves night trunking duties including collections and deliveries to various locations.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety and customer site rules are adhered to
- Drive defensively and fuel efficiently at all times
- Ensure all delivery and collection notes and paperwork are completed accurately
- Provide accurate paperwork relevant to the debriefing of allocated jobs
- Ensure compliance with all transport legislation including drivers’ hours and vehicle defect reporting
- Provide an exceptional standard of service to customers
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as detailed by the Transport Management Team
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and wear uniform and PPE provided
Requirements
- Current and valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience driving on UK roads (2 years required as per role criteria)
- Driver CPC card (essential)
- Understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and tachograph legislation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Additional Information
- Salary: £41,765.00 per annum (paid weekly) plus £25.00 weekly bonus
- Hours of Work: 50 hours per week, Monday – Friday, approximately 3:00pm – 1:00am
- Location: Gloucester, GL2 7NG
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Ability to Commute/Relocate: Gloucester GL2 7LN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
