H&M Distribution Limited are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join their team. As one of the leading suppliers of distribution services within the UK, we are currently expanding our team within our St Neots depot, offering full-time permanent positions, a competitive pay rate, additional bonuses, and incentives.
You will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles to meet strict turnaround times as part of our 24-hour warehouse operation. The role requires strong communication skills, as you will liaise with multiple departments to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and safely. It is essential that you hold a valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence and demonstrate strong Health & Safety awareness to help maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

- Load and unload all vehicles, ensuring goods have the relevant paperwork
- Assist with inventory control, including labelling and scanning
- Store and rotate stock in line with established procedures
- Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures when handling goods
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations in line with site rules
- Proactively record, report, and manage any safety incidents, including near misses
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (required)
- Excellent team-working skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy, including the use of scanners and warehouse management systems
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent Health & Safety awareness
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Salary: £13.67 per hour
