Role Overview: The Bench Joiner will manufacture bespoke joinery items from conception to completion within the commercial and fit‑out sector.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate workshop bench and machinery to service fit‑out projects, carrying out general joinery duties such as cabinet assembly and bespoke furniture manufacture.
- Proactively manage work and maintain client focus in the delivery of projects.
- Represent the company in a competent and professional manner.
- Comply with company Health & Safety policy, rules and Quality Assurance procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, material handling and safety at all times.
- Carry out other ad‑hoc duties as requested by the supervisor.
What You’ll Bring: As a Bench Joiner, your main skills and experience should include:
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of three years experience working as part of a joinery team to complete projects.
- Relevant experience developing bespoke joinery projects.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of safe and effective working practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible, problem‑solving approach.
- Read and understand working drawings.
Desirable Criteria:
- Valid CSR card (Employer Initiated).
- Valid, clean driving licence.
- Self‑motivated with a proven track record of achieving targets.
