Are you looking for a Junior Field Agent role with more variety than an office-based position?
This is an opportunity to join a property management company and take ownership of fire safety across a large, complex, and highly varied portfolio of buildings across London and a couple of locations outside London. You’ll need to travel by train to the locations outside London and ideally have a scooter for getting around London.
With around 67 building sites,
What will you be doing?
You'll take responsibility for Fire safety checks of sites, working closely with each Building Manager.
Your focus will be on fire risk assessment, fire safety management, and improving standards across the Property.
You'll be:
Leading fire safety across your allocated sites.
Completing and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments.
Identifying fire safety risks and making sure actions are followed through.
Advising operational teams.
Challenging the business where additional controls or investment are needed.
Supporting new building and development projects.
Advising on Building Regulations, Building Control, and fire safety requirements.
Working with site teams to understand the practical challenges they face
Building strong relationships while confidently providing challenge when needed.
Travelling across the UK to support different sites.
Your approach matters
You'll need to be someone who can walk into a room, challenge assumptions, and ask the right questions.
Some of the buildings you'll be dealing with are older and present genuinely difficult fire safety challenges. Sometimes the right solution will require significant investment, and you'll need the confidence to make that case while maintaining strong relationships with the client and the wider business.
You'll work closely with the people actually managing these buildings, so understanding the real-world challenges on the ground is just as important as your technical knowledge.
Why consider it?
